I'm planning on doing a proper sort and update of my collection with respect to high quality covers I have scattered about my various storage devices.

Is there any interest in me file hosting a pack (or packs) of HQ lesbian JAV covers? This would be only images larger than the default 800 x 600 from DMM, sourced from Google and Yandex reverse image search and JAV publisher and distributor websites.

Note that I revert to smaller DMM covers if larger ones have no apparent increase in quality - I have no interest in interpolated versions at larger canvas sizes (that's a big "fuck you" to Javpop and their bullshit upscales).

This would represent covers collected from around 2009 through to present including a lot of titles I don't have and possibly some where both the movies and the covers are now hard to find.

Covers would range from 840w (eg. MGStage/Prestige), 1000w/1024w (eg. Duga), 1200w (eg. Tsutaya and AVchannel) up to over 4K (including XCream).

Figured I could save some people some donkey search work and maybe serve as a heads up on titles and publishers you might not have considered before.

Let me know if interested. Also if you would prefer them all glommed together in one folder or in subfolders by label - for titles I have they're pre-sorted that way in my collection so no additional hardship on my part.

Good eye. The production values are very good on both of these with realistic... appendages! Exactly the counter I was asking for to compare with what I've seen in JAV previously.

Amusingly to me, due to the quality almost the only substantive difference between these and watching very passable tgirls going at it is knowing that the actresses are cis. Whether one cares to maintain or require that distinction in the face of girl dick is going to depend very much on the individual.

The fakeness doesn't bother me, unless when it goes to absurd levels in terms of size, like Rocket and Rookie sometimes do. If it's too fake while being in a reasonable size, then you're at worst just watching a lesbian strapon scene, which isn't so bad.

However, there's a fundamental difference between futanari and "passable tgirls", I would say. The futanari girls are (almost always) hermaphrodites, meaning that they have both female and "male" genitals. So they have a dick, but also a pussy. I've come across a couple of futanari movies where that is missing and they're only jacking and sucking each other off, which I find boring and not worth having in my collection.

I treat them like album covers, it's part of the enjoyment for me. Also there's the media server reason... still slacking off on pulling proper metadata so I can have casts, tags, etc. etc.

I am planning to answer this but with the addition of so many titles to my collection (new and old) in the last few years it's not easy to be comprehensive. I'll give it a go when I can!

I'd say many of them released in what I consider to be the golden years of about 2008-2014, unfortunately the pre-HD/FHD era. Thinking of studios such as Style-art, Cross, Natural High, JNS (Janes), Deep's, Aroma Planning, Crystal Eizou and Mousouzoku for instance.

What are you guys' best lesbian JAV from last year that you saw?


For me, I didn't watch too many in full, around 15. I blame my no-skipping policy for that. But out of those, it was an easy winner: LZDM-047! Ichika Matsumoto and Asuka Momose are both gorgeous and amazing performers. Nao Masaki directing, she can barely do no wrong.

BBAN-398 released on 1/11/2023 so just fails to make the cut otherwise would be on my short list.

It's a good formula tbh. I've only watched IESP-676 and IESP-664 from Ienergy but I loved both, and makes me excited to check out some of the others. IESP-707 looks especially good, and I just finished watching BBAN-401 which featured Kana Yura, so now I'm even more enticed to watch IESP-707. I also really liked BBAN-396, would be in my top 10.


I'd say Asuka Momose is girl of the year for me. She was amazing in LZDM-047 and BBAN-372 (she was the most enthusiastic of the three girls), and she did more stuff like DANDY-814 and NHDTB-625 which I'd really like to see.

Haha, big tits are nice. Interesting top choice, I was not moved by the trailer of RCTD-485, although I still downloaded it. Haven't seen any of the movies you mentioned though Except for the first 20 or so minutes of AUKG-530. Forgot to continue that one. Pretty good 20 minutes though.

Made an interesting find that people may or may not already be aware of.

User basel13 on Jav Library has posted a number of AI remasters of old SD movies upscaled to 1080p. Unsure if they're doing the work or not but from the front splash screens suggest that these have been performed using Topaz Video AI.

Here's the list of them, hosted on Ex-Load. Apart from the majority being non-lesbian, this seems to include a lot of VR titles that I doubt are upscaled. The list does have a bit of a focus on long tongues and berobero with same - fine by me as I'll grab all those BJ titles as well.

So far from the girl-girl titles I've grabbed:

The Topaz FAQ seems to suggest that even a GTX1080 GPU will do one frame of upscale in around 0.4s for a 480p to 1080p conversion. That works out to around 24 hours for a two hour movie at 30fps if my math works out. Seems doable.

Some of them like LADY-050 do have that overprocessed look that makes the skin look plastic-like and "burned", but the Aroma Planning ones came out great. Probably down to the source quality/compression and improving user skill.

Speaking of Alice Otsu... I just watched the trailer for the upcoming RBK-067 from Attackers and just wow.. what the hell is this, sequel time?! All the girls from JBD-289 are back plus an extra one and it looks amazing. I'm not sure if Kotone Toua and Sayuki Mogami are still playing the mother and daughter characters since there wasn't much interaction shown between them, but I really hope so. Big hype from me!

NHDTB-753 also looks amazing. Similar premise to NHDTB-709, here a girl starts groping and stimulating her brother's girlfriend in secret under the table with the brother and other characters in the house being unaware. A fun coincident that the little sisters (there's 2 scenes) are Kana Yura and Hikaru Minazuki. The last movie I finished watching was BBAN-401 with Kana Yura and I'm almost done with BBAN-409 which has Hikaru Minazuki. I've grown really fond of Hikaru, she was also in NHDTB-709, super cute.

The upcoming batch of BBAN movies also looks really good. I thought they had finally plugged all the holes created from their out-of-order releases, but then I noticed they went from BBAN-412 to BBAN-417, lmao. Well, at least their monthly output seems to be normalizing, with 5 movies this time.

Okay, after looking at 2022 I'm going to hype a few of my early picks for the first two months of 2023.

I'll admit that I haven't always looked at Bibian (or should I say Vivian/Vivienne?) as right at the top of my personal list of studios showcasing レズ content but they've been very consistent lately, moreso than main rivals U&K and Lezule (or Lezre... whatever the official name is).

I wasn't actively aware of either of the two actresses prior to this title and being young looking I wasn't expecting much based on the cover. Thankfully, I was in for a nice surprise.

Everything these two did in the buildup seemed slow, sensuous and committed. When the time came for action, they went at it with vigor. As I said elsewhere, an unexpected banger.

I'm finding that this is a more solid start to the year than 2022 which I kind of found to be a fairly underwhelming year overall in our genre.

(I haven't forgotten about trying to come up with my all time favorites. I'm just dreading the task of doing it justice. As I move past the 3000 title mark there's more I've probably forgotten about than I'd like to admit and will be hard pressed to rediscover on what would obviously need to be skim watching. Then again there's those titles that stay in the memory - some hold up to scrutiny, others are decent but imperfect personal snapshots of a moment in JAV history...)

I finished watched RBK-067. It IS a sequel to JBD-289, with the same characters plus a new girl, which is pretty cool. It was a bit disappointing though, had potential to be much better. Too much focus on the new girl, and it never felt like a foursome even though there were 4 of them in a scene. Also no squirting which was strange, JBD-289 had a lot of squirting. The mother and daughter barely interacted with each other in this movie. Still a pretty good JAV, 8/10.

Does anyone know of other lesbian sequel movies? I don't think I've encountered any except for maybe the futanari movies RKI-408 and RKI-412, but maybe it doesn't count because they were probably produced at the same time and then RKI-417 released as a collection of both.



Very excited for BBAN-415, 2023's yearly lesbian pissing JAV. It's the same formula as BBAN-372, also with Nao Masaki directing. Happy to see Hikaru Minazuki in the cast, she's been doing so many lesbian movies lately.
