Hello there..the only live action one I really liked is Taimanin Yukikaze, it's just so difficult for them to have the same level of intensity as H. I'm still hoping they'd produce live action versions of some of my favorite works from Lilith, especially the street alley gang bang scene from Dark Knight Ingrid
I dont think they will do the Dark Knight Ingird, the H-anime is actually spin off from that Taimanin series. The first one i get is Hana-Hook adaption, quite nice and the director go as much as original
I'm afraid it's a fad that's already fading. I still keep up with the ZIZG series, but there were quite a few forgettable films in last few month. (ZIZG-012 Prison Battleship Fortress City Brainwash is very good again, but still behind ZIZG-002 Prison Battleship in production value).
As for URE and MIMK, I haven't seen a good one for months, perhaps I missed a few.

Indeed, the ZIZG-012 is actually little bit fail in my opinion. Perhaps I had not play the second game but character wise, i feel the actress is lacking in chest department. For URE and MIMK, they had out with few series. For example the latest of MIMK-036 is quite interesting. And the URE, well they seem like picking up the none famous series to make live action. Hope by next few month they pick better one I guess.

Don't worry I rarely see the mods taking action except for something really annoying. Anyway hentai and AV are obviously related topics so there's no need to make it a black and white issue.
I come at this genre not being a real fan of hentai. I loved Urotsukidoji and Cream Lemon back then but have outgrown it around the time of La Blue Girl (the anime). I loved La Blue Girl the movie(s) not so much they were great movies and/or porn but more like love the idea of it: bunch of folks rigging up rubber props and gel and writing a script and actors memorizing the lines to make a, essentially, a dildo porn lousy for masturbation.
I like some elements of hentai: crazy weird excuse to have sex, elaborate stories, and blend of other genres (such as SciFi, fantasy adventure etc) into sex, etc. Other aspect of hentai such as extreme humiliation/gang r***, mind break interest me a lot less. So perhaps we are not on the same page here...
I like ZIZG and a couple of older superheroine (Cybeeta) spoof vids because of the elaborate costume, CGI, sets, dialogues (even if I don't understand Japanese and not knowing the backstory of Taimanin, I get a kick out of watching AV idols string long sentences together and talking about demons and end of the world etc). Yes I can't wait for the sex to get on, but I also love watching the soon-to-be-fucked heroines getting physical with swords and staves and laser guns (love the cheap CGI laser beam and explosions).
There was also a early MIMK (correction: EBOD-313) which happens at a school and the protagonist (a female student) has to figure out a conspiracy by the principal and teachers who drug and r*** girls. Do you agree this exciting new trend (I don't remember seeing much of this 3 years ago) is already fading? In what way? And why (what's the cause of fading)? My "evidence" is that during my daily/weekly scanning of covers, I hardly see live action hentai's distinctive design any more, or it could just be in my heads...

So I would be quite happy if it becomes one of the "mainstream" genres like soapland so that every AV idols can be expected to make at least one vid in this genre.

But then ... it can get tiresome if every vid is featuring her, or every other performer is surgically enhanced to the same manga-like figure. So I' happier with live action hentai's characters not quite as cartoonish as the original source. The point isn't to re-create the same look from one medium to next, it' to modify it to be surprising and familiar at the same time.

Personally I am not sure that it is already fading or not due to lack of many year research into JAV. But if you said it had started to lose its value then I guess the reason is that when they start they choose carefully which hot doujinshi and possible consult the author when they develop it. Then after awhile, the scriptwriter is too confident and just get the scene out of his ass rather want to follow the story or they make mistake then pick up the wrong series when they are adapt. Possible the time they pick it, it is like new hot, but by the time they finish every thing to publish the live aciton, the fanbase had moved on another story.

If you want Julia in some other media adaptation, you have MIMK-015 and MDYD-759, for example. In general, in my opinion, her acting is a bit tame, like she could do more, but her body is just perfect.

Just mentioning ZIZG-014 had been out for a while. And mention couple other vids (RKI-408, RKI-412) for live action that I mentioned in Fake Futanari.
Thanks for linking the manga to the AV (URE-019) I am quite interested in these adaptions but always too lazy to dig up the original source.
But I do want to rant about the sad state of hentai and JAV (again).
To sum it all up, I think Losers (herbivore cherry boy 40 year old virgins sociopaths) have totally dominated the consumer base of JAV (and probably also AMG-anime manga games) and more and more I can't identify with them and I can't enjoy the AV's and hentai written and produced for these target audience.
Hana Hook's Hahaoya Shikkaku (Disgraceful Mother?) series is a perfect example, the protagonist is a weakling in both body and mind, he's small, frail, not very intelligent and socially dysfunctional. "Tormenting" him are women who are beautiful, smart and authoritative. The women (always including his mother) maybe less than kind to him, or they may be acting quite normal towards such a loser and they are only mean and spiteful in his sad sad imagination. And then somehow the loser boy get to torture all these women sexually.
OK sometimes I get my rocks off watching some undeserving guy have sex with a much superior woman/goddess, but it can only be a fringe or freakshow. Even with an asymmetric pairing I still don't need to see ether the men or women being hurt or torture against his/er will. I enjoyed quite a few S&M literature/productions including Urotsukidoji, back when it was an extreme. But now the "mainstream" seems more mental and dysfunctional then Urotsukidoji. Another comparison is with Western S&M culture, such as 50 Shades of Gray and Sleeping Beauty series by Anne Rice or Tanya Hyde's S&M porn (coincidentally it seems many of the masters of S&M are actually women: mistresses). Both the sadists and masochists are smart and beautiful and rarely have things done to them which is truly against their wills and desires.
