No surprises here....

It's good to see the industry taking a stand behind potential shady practices, but the woman in question most likely is lying about being forced. Many AV stars rallied AGAINST her after it was found out she has several hundred titles to her name. Most likely it was a pushy boyfriend who coerced her to concoct the story so all her work could be removed from the web.

Again, forcing people to do something that they truly don't want to do is horrible (unless it's to eat their vegetables), but in the most recent case involving her, there's multiple sides to what's going on.

I appreciate your insight, but I do think you are very naive when it comes to how much the yakuza controls in Japan, including the police.

its similiar with american 70's era porn star, which I forget her name, she said in many interviews that porn industry are evil, and she was forced to perform in porn movies and feel hurt, so she join anti porn movement

but soon her statement was declined by other famous porn star (if my memory correct she is Annette Haven) who worked with her in the same scene and some movies too, she said that hypocrate, she know how she enjoyed the sex, and enjoyed the money too

like I've guess, you will bring yakuza issue again :D

I can say you're naive if you think those girls are forced to work in porn industry or in prostitution, not all of them are forced to do it, the fact many of them choose those kind of jobs to get large & fast money

I know that. But ultimately, the people at the top are yakuza affiliated.

but not all of them are related to yakuza

and many people like to brag that they have connection to yakuza, mafia, triad, gangster, ecc but the only criminal that they know is low class thugs in some shitty bar

I believe the girl's name is Hitomi Fujiwara: 藤原ひとみ I like her KAWD-251 video where she debuted:

can't believe she got a boyfriend too :suram: if my other favourite JAV girls also have boyfriend, I am gonna commit Kamikaze on myself :jotos:

It must be her. DMM/R18 removed her videos. Considering the huge amount of videos she did in almost every genre imaginable, I am inclined to believe the story about the idiot/jealous boyfriend being behidn all this.

I don't know if it's true that she really got forced into the industry or not

but I wouldn't be surprised if she just wanted to get all material removed after getting into the industry to make quick cash for a couple of years.

I suspect a wave of other women claiming to have been forced into the industry for ~5 years and then years later speaking out about it.

most women know that crying crocodile tears means that they don't have to take responsibility for their actions thanks to gynocentrism.

Not surprised to see men get blamed.

women oftenly like to play victim

and performing in commercial porn movies is not same like slavery

after took the money, they get retired and want to erase her past :D

I don't doubt there are genuine examples out there of women who were forced to do JAV against their will, but I seriously doubt they are Hitomi Fujiwara or any major JAV idol.

And... on the other side of the pond: Stoya's story about being r***ing by her then-boyfriend/coworker, and her effort to "fix" the porn industry.

Sounds about the same, of course the details are different in JAV. But Stoya is a much much bigger name than Hitomi Fujiwara, Digital Playground is bigger than whatever little studio in that story and New York Magazine is ... not just mainstream, it's upper class mainstream.

So... some unseemly things happened with Hitomi Fujiwara, and Stoya. They were both "forced" to have sex for selling videos. That's true enough, prima facia (if I misspelt that, don't correct me, I don't give a flying fuck).

You know, my employer also forced me to wear a tie-and-suit (in the hot summer) and come in to work on a Saturday. I already made plan for the weekend for fuck's sake. But they fucking forced me and I came in like the sheep I am. Now... is there going to be public outcry, is the industry going to apologize for unpaid compulsory overtime and uncomfortable dress code. Or the police come to investigate? No flying fuck!

Look I know the "industry" do lots of crappy things, they deforest the Amazon and drive natives to inhuman conditions to make my hamburger $2.89. Wars and genocides to make my gasoline so cheap I can live 30km away from work. In the grand scheme of things... the misdeeds of JAV and Western porn industry is not only tolerable, it's downright laudable! I think it's wonderful that any young woman who's reasonably pretty can make a decent living, perhaps even easy living, just taking off her cloths and receive penis in her holes, IF SHE SO CHOOSE. Stoya didn't like Digital Playground's policies, so she get a lawyer and figure out her rights and get in income as a waitress for a whole year! And she won!

And that's the way it should work. Not to get the police or government or censors to interfere with matters of private commerce.

So how I think about the whole thing is: sure I can believe most porn/AV performers have been mistreated or forced to do something against their will. Well duh welcome to the real world, I hate working weekends, I hate writing reports, I hate filling timecards, when I get stressed I enjoy watching AV not thinking oh... is the studio forcing little Hitomi to fucking those big black cocks and swallow sperms?

Of course I do have moral red lines, but I think since the 21st Century the industry has cleaned up enough that mostly... 99% I feel "safe" whatever AV/porn I watch, or whatever prostitute I hire doesn't involve those bad cases, sex slavery, drug addiction etc. Every hooker that I've fucked and managed a conversation, I'm convinced she's in control. Yeah yeah sure maybe there's a mama-san or boyfriend abusing her or holding her debt or something. But if she's not doing enough to get herself out, then she can't be complaining or blaming anyone.

Like one hooker I talked to, after I fucked her and were talking. She said she doesn't like being a prostitute and told me about the nasty things that she has to endure. I ask her have you tried quitting, she said "yeah a couple times. But then I had to work, and I hate getting out of bed before 11AM and a lot of work needs me standing up for hours! so when I ran out money I came back" She was outright cheerful when saying this. I laughed and told her a tiny bit about how hard I work and said "now you need to suck my cock until I get hard and I'm gonna fuck you because you want the money in my wallet so you can get out of bed at 11AM and work lying down."

About Stoya r***ing by James Deen: it's OT but I feel I need to put my position out there. I mean I love Stoya! I can't even name one other Western porn star after Stoya (can't believe she's so old already). But on Deen vs. Stoya, I'm totally on his side.

I have no idea where I finally stand on the points you make and others bring up, but I appreciate your candor and what you bring to the conversation.

My gripe is that we can all sit behind our computers and say negative things about them so easily while not really knowing
Well in certain circles I'm also pro-feminist. BUT a lot of people (a lot of women, but also many many non-women) forget "responsibility" once they can find an "injustice" to ledge on to. If injustice or misdeeds were made to Hitomi, and she endured it and keep making AV, she has no right to seek "justice" now, after the fact. Unless she came up with documents and evidence that she made earnest effort to quit the studios and/or criminal acts were involved. She has the right to give interviews or write a book or publicize her difficulties and the public has the right to judge and form opinions. And it is right that the agency made an apology. And it's a good thing new girls hear about it and be careful about the contracts they sign and learn their rights and protect themselves when the agencies or studios push their envelop of comfort. I care about this because I want hot young Japanese girls feel comfortable making porn or hooker for a career.

But don't try to shame us the consumers, don't try to bring religious or moralistic judges and censors, don't say oh any girl making porn must have been gang-r***ing by her older brothers or something.
what it feels like to be in the shoes of someone that enters that shady world. These men and women are our brothers and sisters in humanity, to think lesser of them is to think lesser of ourselves.
Yet I have a feeling you aren't any wiser than I about "in the shoes of someone ..." I think you are part of the problem not the solution. You are the kind who say you want to help and sympathize, but actually you, more than I, think lesser of them.

I think, if my kind of thinking is more common, more mainstream, I probably could marry a ex-sex worker. I probably WOULD. But in this world, I can't, not because I think lesser of them, but because people like you will think the lesser of me. Their world is actually fine. Only problem is uptight moralists call it shady.
