Our server, which hadn't crashed once since it first came online, suffered a stroke a few days ago. The BIOS reset itself and some other mysterious hardware errors occurred.

Although the fix was easy, troubleshooting took several days because we foolishly asked the datacenter to solve the problem for us.

No guarantees this won't happen again. Akiba-Online needs new hardware if it's going to survive long-term.

thanks to all our hard workers! ^___^.

being at "kawaii15" was an awkward experience; i felt as if i was a 'black guy' in a room full of 'white guys'... or the reverse. to make a long story short: i didn't feel like i belonged there :runintears:.

but, now i'm home! muah :grassdance:/

Welcome back home,
I spent a lot of the time in Akiba's IRC, I managed to bring down the tone a couple of times, and we did manage to find out some of the things that was going on

Why does this site have its own server why not use a hosting company?

And is that why this website is always so slow?
