One day I will conquer Mt. Fuji..... and its women.
Someone just asked me on another forum how long it took to climb... here's my answer.
We arrived at about 7:30pm via bus at the bottom of the mountain and had to hang out there for an hour to acclimate to the already thinning air. We started up about 8:20 or so and got to the top around 6:30-7am. Not in time for the sunrise, but in time to FINALLY get warmed up a little bit via the sun. It's FFFFing COLD up there, let me tell you. Some said the toughest part was going down... FFFF THAT, the toughest part -IS- going up. Going down you get a nice view of everything and it looks beautiful... going up is in the dark, you need to spelunk up rocks and other shit.. it's not just a combed path in the least. There's some portions that people have made into 'steps' (like stairs) but those are few and far between.

Vast, not all :joker:AKB48 was there this one time, maybe even more times. The vast majority of Mt. Fuji's female climbers are old women who climb it for health.. you're more than welcome to'em.
