Some of you have asked me in private if things are back to normal yet. Well yea, more or less. There's still a little bit of a food shortage within Tokyo area, but people are overcoming that by simply buying less than normal (which isn't a whole lot to begin with). What a lot of folks in North America don't realize is that deep-feezes only exist here in large restaurants. Most people have a freezer the size of a small CRT monitor, so the ability to store large amounts of food 'just in-case' doesn't exist for us. It's not that we can't buy one (well, it's partially that since they are VERY hard to find), but it's more-so that there isn't space in apartments OR houses for a deep freeze especially since the vast majority of houses do not (by law) have basements. It's main floor and upstairs... that's it.
