not sure if it is hakata but i think the word Lahmeng may be the chinese romaji for ramen, as the dish comes from china originally.
the katakana ラーメン elongates the first sound 'ra' which kinda fits in with 'lah'.
also, the menu on the right is written in japanese and looks like a ramen shops menu.

what was the soup? ceewan suggested tonkotsu (pork bone) but i thought it looked a little thin...chicken maybe?

does not. It also looks like a combination of chicken and pork where your last post looks like chicken and....well I am not really sure what that is in the center there. Actually I don't eat ramen that much myself but I do like it a lot. More of a rice man myself. Also I like your attached pictures better, they are easier for me to see and the page takes less time to load.

pork ramen soup is made by emulsifying the fat into the broth that comes out of the pork bones (as im sure youre aware) and so well made soup has a milky quality and is not clear at all. chicken soup (often taken from chicken backs for ramen) needs to be made at under boiling point otherwise it too goes milky and looks horrible. another explanation could be a non-clear sauce in a chicken based soup or some kind of coloration from other ingredients.
i think the pinkish looking stuff on the right is menma, made from bamboo shoots.
often tonkotsu ramen will contain or be a blend of pork bone and chicken soups.
other types of ramen include seafood based soups.
And now for something COMPLETELY different... a series of photos I took using my old cell-phone which, at the time, was AMAZINGLY advanced. It had a 1.3mp camera (while EVERYTHING in North America was stuck at .3), it (for some reason) had an AM and FM radio, a strobe-flash and several other amazing features... the one that killed it? The fact that it took great photos... and did not contain a memory card or ANY method to download the high-rez image. W.T.F??
