It appears that pictures have been disappearing from the media section, is it a bug or was it wanted by the mods?

code 1014 is CNAME CRoss-User error.
Check your DNS and check for Viruses etc.
this should only happen if s.th. is in between you and akiba and give out other IPs

Thanks for looking into the problem. As you say this might be at my end, I have checked with Avast, Malwarebytes, Spybot and finally ComboFix. I did check the DNS but I really don't know what I am looking for or even at. Cleared cache again and all of this is still not helping. I am still getting "ERROR 1014". I have to get here in a round about way as I can't use the bookmark.

I also am getting the CNAME Cross-user error.

I got it first about a week ago on a win7 lappy I was using but it was ok on a win10 lappy. Then it also happened on that lappy. Now I am using another win10 lappy and I am getting in ok but for how long.
cloudflare says this is an issue at website end not client end, but above comments say different.

but different people report same issue (we all cant have same virus on this) and I get it on different machines some of which I rarely use. I dont have issue with any other sites.

Please help as I feel like a drowning man I dont know how long this lappy will access site before it also succumbs to error 1014 and then all will go dark (yikes!).

Sorry Coolzero do not know what this last sentence means. I have also tried to get round error 1014 using a vpn but no go. Also googled error hoping for some direction but no help. All comments say problem at website.

Some direction on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank GOD it isn't just me!! Yes, I wondered what that "this should only happen if s.th. is in between you and akiba and give out other IPs" was all about. Figured it was more computer speak and already felt stupid enough admitting that I had(and still have) no clue as to what he is referring to about the "DNS".

It can't be just the 3 of us though?!?!

this issue may be fixed. My bookmark on firefox browser was pointing to akiba-online.org, this had been correct.
I used ie explorer as browser and googled akiba, clicked on result and got in as akiba-online.com.

went back to firefox and used bookmark method, it is now using akiba-online.com. either the computer fairy has fixed my bookmarks or the site admin has tweaked the site address to point to akiba-online.com as the default address.

Either way I am a happy bunny.

To others just check you are using akiba-online.com, if this not the issue for you try different browser and google akiba.

Yes. Whatever was happening appears to have resolved itself. Did check but my bookmark was .com all along.

this could happen, if you are using tor or some VPN-services.

when you are moving from one tor to another tor exit node this can happen.

moreover there could be some issues with static files on static.akiba-online.com since we are still using cloudflare for this.

Sorry to disagree but actually page 11 with all its posts have been deleted. The posts were by a new user (isweettree) unfamiliar with the rules . Perhaps you could post a few lines to him in the above forum pointing him to the rules.

fixed. Max-Filesize is now 8MB (as defined in the board)

missed the settings while upgrading to php - sorry.
