At what point of the execution do you get this error?
The error message suggests that some connection to a server was unexpectedly closed by the server. I suspect some colab lmitation has reached. The server connections can be for downloading whisper models to the colab server, or getting the audio file from google drive server, and such. It can also mean that the other server has been down or disconnects temporarily. If my guess is right, you should be able to run without error after some hours.

I got frustrated and stopped at around 1:53:00. This has never happened before - add 2 seconds, add 10 seconds, subtract 5 seconds... ugh. Maybe it's when Whisper is retrying chunks? Not sure. Anyway enjoy the first 1.50 of the video for correct timings

lol I get it. One is 23 and the other is 26 if that's any better. Any idea on why Whisper was jumping around so much?
In my case, I guess I had used up my 100 GPU computing units for the month...what ever that is.... Can't speak for others however.
