Can Rapidgator be used instead of Ryushare ?
Have had an account with them for over a year without any issues

At the moment you can use anything, you are not forced to use a given hoster. Of course do not post links on a hoster that is already posted (rule 10).

that is the problem with assumptions, no one here knows yet, I would say wait until what comes out, it might be a case of spreading pirated material

The site was down a few weeks ago, I believe with a similar error for a few hours only. As mentioned above, the message displayed says its an error with the database. I have no knowledge though, so it could mean totally nothing. I'd expect a "page cannot be displayed" message if the site was gone for good.

Can anyone confirm that the guy mentioned in the viet article is the owner of ryushare and that he is in trouble? His name is the same as the owner of ryushare.

Judging from other sources it seems that the Ryushare admin was arrested, almost every vietnamese jav blog has been closed (in fact a good 60% of jav blogs i used to check frequently simply vanished in 24 hours). Nobody deletes all the ryushare links/files and closes a site if he is not sure of what's going on...it may be the end of Ryushare.

I was reading through those threads as well. It was reported (and confirmed for whatever that's worth) that suddenly all members had a 1 year extension of Premium accounts. If THAT pans out to be the case, then it is good news as it is most likely hackers that did it and they took their database offline so they can fix/patch things. The site reports a database error, it doesn't have anything saying they have been taken down.

if the ryushare will shutdown. they will leave a message that their website will be no longer available or some notice to message all members of ryushare.

I understood the error its related on the database. that's why we have 1 year extended in our premium account. I think thats the reason why they are fixing it and back the true/current premium date.

I really hope you are right, by now I´ll rescue utorrent from the burden of memories.
Curiosly, today i should have renewed my monthly premium account, not losing a penny

Rapidgator really sux for me: they delete files too soon, rarely find active files in blogs. Jdownloader rarely can get the files: it begins downloading and suddenly starts a cycle of restarting. Have to use flashget or getright and get very slow speeds with both, no more tnat 200-300 kbps
I will not renew my premium with them.

Still doesn't explain why many javblog admins suddenly rushed to delete anything ryushare related from their sites and many others just shutted down everything...12 sites i was used to check regularly just shutted down in a single day...of those 12 sites only 2 of them remained and deleted anything ryushare related. Don't you think that it's more than a simple overreaction? I prefer to look at the facts rather than read what people speculate in this and that forum, hope is the last to die but i've never seen such a chain of reactions since megaupload was shut down. Well aged sites just closed out of the blue guys and not only jav blogs.
