When i try to play the file with VLC i only get the first second. Media Player Classic doesn't play it at all. Am i missing something?
Did it actually download? I could not get MPC to play, but VLC 2.04 and Windows Media Player did play.
I used JDownloader 0.9.581 to download, no errors. It also extracted the file without any errors. I use VLC2.05 to play. Windows Media Player also can't play it. It says it missing an codec, but i have the latest K-Lite codec pack installed.
When i extract the files with 7-zip i get the same issues.
MPC 1.6.5.6237 (0f83cf3) opens file , audio is fine but picture is just lines across.
VLAN 2.04 is fine.
Using MediaInfo 7.61, this is data on file
I can play it and seek without any problem using mpchc or windows media player and since the post hasn't been edited, it's still the same links.
Either it got corrupted while you downloaded it or Klite has a crappy default configuration for LAVfilters(which I assume it's using).
Try to go into LAV Video configuration(hopefully klite put the shortcut for it somewhere in the start menu), in the formats tab, make sure the wmv12 codec is checked.
If it is, then there's probably something conflicting with it and it's the reason why you shouldn't use codec packs.
As for VLC, it has no flexibily at all so it either work or it doesn't. Update to the latest version(you can also try the nightly builds which have the latest changes) and hope for the best or report a bug to the developers.
