    Website Value $14.57 Million

This isn't really a news story. 14 mil is a ridiculous figure. Website valuation has little to do with counting unique hits, and more about calculating future earnings. A buyer will always pay a priced based on expected future returns. Akiba-Online is not a business, and it doesn't have a...

HELP! Downloading from DMM.co.jp - Need URL info...

That's hard to say. If the server performs a simple redirect, you'll be able to grab the videos with wget (if your dedicated server is a linux variant. For windows, you can get wget by installing Cygwin.) If there's some other trickery going on, you might have to sniff your HTTP traffic and...

    How to perform HQ IVTC?

Your 23.976fps clip has 396 frames. There's no reason to be inspecting and analysing the video after pulldown. I think you're confused. Your video is already progressive. Any kind of motion analysis of progressive fields, which do not have a temporal dimension, is meaningless.
  15. R

    How to perform HQ IVTC?

The motion smearing in the clip you provided is caused by slow shutter. It's the way the movie was filmed and there's no way to remove it. If you're talking about something else, please provide a screenshot.
  16. R

    How to perform HQ IVTC?

Okay, that DVD has soft pulldown flags. Your best option is using Forced Film in DGIndex. It will simply return the 23.976fps progressive video stream that is already present.

    How to perform HQ IVTC?

    Yep.
  18. R

    How to perform HQ IVTC?

Use the [ and ] selection buttons in DGIndex to mark off a section where the problem is clearly visible, set it to Honor Pulldown Flags, and then File > Save Project and Demux Video.

I wonder...something like a toplist of users here?

Roll your mouse over any user's reputation pips to see some text. That text roughly corresponds to how many positive rep points they have. The highest level anyone has achieved is "User has much to be proud of". But Idolfun will soon cross into uncharted territory with 1 million rep points...

Convert from mkv to simple avi

Probably because your video has a non-standard resolution of 960x720. Look up your media player's specs and find out the accepted resolutions for MPEG-4 video.

  36. R

Font size and color a no no?

No... That's even more garish. Stick with the normal color, which doesn't cause ocular bleeding. If you want to use comic sans that's up to you... but it's a lot less readable than the default.

Font size and color a no no?

Another problem is that people are already starting to pick up on the habit. A-O will eventually turn into a rainbow splash of multicolor posts competing for attention. By the way, somewhat related: for those people that want to highlight some text, it's better to use the tags than to use a...

Font size and color a no no?

Actually I didn't mean to issue an infraction to you, Aqua. Just a 'Warning'. Unfortunately A-O software doesn't allow staff to issue a 'Warning' with a custom reason, only an infraction. I'll remove it from your account. You asked me why the infraction was so sudden, but I did ask you...

That's a false positive. cvtres.exe is a file generated by the Microsoft 32-bit .Net Framework v2.0.50727. Due to the way .NET native images are generated, the hash will be different on each computer. Here's mine, go ahead and upload your copy to http://virustotal.com and you'll see the same...
