- Informal retirement Kirara Asuka: she is denying retirement, but her status is "taking a rest indefinitely", she is rich so money won't be a factor pulling her back.

- S1 announced a 14-members (Nene Yoshitaka, Yua Mikami, Shunka Ayami etc) grand plan to celebrate their 15th anniversary. Why 14 not 15? It seems 15 girls was the original plan but there were some drop out and they end up mustering only 14. Also the grand plan will include more than 1 vid, so it will be several vids each starring a handful (not 10+) idols. ,

- Moe Arihana 有花もえ is ending her contract status with Max-a, she is free lance at the moment.

- Suzu Mitake 美竹すず is filming AV again after a rest of a year, she has filmed a group vid with 葉山りん,早乙女らぶ and 三原ほのか at KMP.

- 2017 retiree Kaname Ootori 凰かなめ has stopped her YouTube channel, she decided making youtube vid (really making profit from it) is difficult. So she made a decision to stop. She is working at "Tiger's Den" 虎の穴 some kind of brothel. It's an open secret that she was always working at brothel even before she made AV and youtube channel.

- another grand plan of three studios cooperating: S1 (Arina Hashimoto 橋本ありな), Premium (Aika Yamagishi 山岸逢花) and IdeaPocket (Minami Aizawa 相沢みなみ) bring back the "Beauty Venus" series after 5 years. The choice of Minami Aizawa created some sour noise from online blowhards.

- Chinami Ito 伊東ちなみ cancelled two scheduled events in a row (at least one of them had already sold many tickets) and has practically disappeared. Fans should brace for a retirement without even a chance of farewell.

- An Tsujimoto's reason for retirement has (supposedly) been well known in the AV industry since April, since (unlike typical Japanese) An is always talking, in fact even her future husband's identity is known in the industry. However, it's not known to the public/fandom until on 9/9 she let slip some wording of a "He" or "my man" when responding to a fan tweet which may refers to BF or husband. That fan pursue the question with a follow up "Husband", to which she very tellingly did not confirm nor deny. (for typical Japanese woman, hack for most of the world, a woman would explicitly deny the word "husband" if she is not married or engaged)

- Ruri Tachibana and other idols are widely reported to be selling sex in Hong Kong. Ruri's 90 minutes service can be had for 20000 HKD. Another idol reportedly ask for 80000 HKD for a quickie. HK news media published multiple photos with clear pix of their face.

- Momo Sakura 桜空もも wrote some tweets that complain of mistreatment by unspecified person. Fans speculated to be her agent.

- Yuu Asakura 麻倉憂 has disappeared, even her agent admit that she might not come back to AV.

- Riina Aizawa 逢沢りいな gravue idol will debut with Fitch on Oct 1st. If you can't wait, you can already find her nude gravue and IV.

- Mio Kimijima 君島みお, after releasing 227 vids (including 26 VR titles) in 9 months, her release pace for Sept "drops" to 9 vids per month. Why? Not sure yet.

- Along with Shunka Ayami (we already discuss her expensive Tokyo apartment), Kirara Asuka 明日花キララ, Arina Hashimoto 橋本ありな, Moe Amatsuka 天使もえ are also observed to be rich or at least living a luxurious life.

- Mirai Haruka はるかみらい is giving negative signals she might be quitting. The worst incident is making a no-show for a AV filming day, leaving the stud, crew and studio high and dry. She (tweeter) seems to be unhappy and hanging out with Kana Kimiiro 君色華奈, who is herself showing shaky signs too.

- a mosaic-free vid of retiree Rui Saotome 早乙女ルイ leaked on FC2, but comically, her pussy is never shown. Only the stud's organ was uncensored.

- after Nanami Shirose 白瀬 ななみ graduate from SOD, she unexpected deleted her twitter account, so it's possible her 9 months career is over.

- Rion is retiring unceremoniously. There's no formal announcement but (1) no release for October, (2) her Twitter and IG accounts were deleted (3) her agency deleted her profile from their website. So it's pretty solid.

- Saika Kawakita 河北彩花, also with S1, is also playing the disappearing act. With 6 vids under her belt, she cleared the minimal (unofficial) requirement for a professional career. She has been very successful judging by the sales, but she is super-shy, never appearing in any public (promotional) event or interview, a Twitter account that may or may not be herself, and not releasing any preview/trailers for any of her AV. Playno1 speculate she's thru-and-thru a "make-a-quick-yen and melt back into civilian life" kind of girl.

- SSNI-247 starring Miharu Usa 羽咲みはる was exposed to use a bottle and tubing to fake her squirting. (the biggest non-scandal scandal if you ask me)

- a TV documentary interview a ex-idol currently known as Shijimi しじみ, she debuted with S1 all the way back in 2004, has made many uncensored vids and still perform bit parts for Attacker vids and also (illegally) sell her own vids on FC2. The TV channel even arrange for her to visit her family after being away for 15 years. Only then (with the TV camera rolling) she learned that her father and grandma had died. blah blah needless to say it's a tear-jerker. It's also revealed that for past 10 years now she has been living in poverty.

- Julia's 2010 vid without mosaic was leaked.

- Kia Aoyama 青山希愛's STAR-986 is her retirement vid. But it's a strange theme for a retirement vid: incest. It seems what happened was that it was filmed as just a regular vid with a common theme, but after the filming before the publication, she decided to quit (around early August). Giving the studio just enough time to put a "Retirement Work" label on the DVD cover (to maximize sales).

- 2 more high ranking idols are retiring before end of year, playno1 knows their names, but he's keeping quiet until formal announcement.
finally no member squabble and just news.
Asuka social presence along with her rumor diva behaviors could be the cause, but she can afford to do it unlike Tia for example. She seems to be doing good in her self invested merch store. Yeah, many av Idols and pornstars in general when outside the limelight face similar problems. Some lose their job after being exposé for their past performances since not all can be like mihiro, sora, Maria etc that make enough and have the power to continue in show biz without nudity as well as retaining the obsessive fans attentions. I'm curious about yua Aida since she was one of the early av award winner and at one time probably more popular and famous than Maria and sora, but too bad she retire early. She said she did try to rebrand herself by doing gravure again, but we all know you can't do the reverse and opposite now. She was a bad moaner, but got that baby fat like saori did.

Mihiro like sora wasn't included in the orgy only acting as the big sister veteran back then, which was a pity. Asuka, an, koharu, and rion seems to have "retired", and idols like Jessica isn't a contract girl. Moody's use to do crazy orgy with amateur fans with the big boob okita's group, yui's agency bbf like Hibiki, ai, aika, and more.

Usually a well-known person jumping in AV would debut with a new stage name, but Riina is keeping her gravue name. Perhaps part of the reason is that full nude gravue jump to AV isn't such a big scandal.

- Mio Kimijima 君島みお, after releasing 227 vids (including 26 VR titles) in 9 months, her release pace for Sept "drops" to 9 vids per month. Why? Not sure yet. Is she taking a rest or market demand for her is coming off the peak? Let's see in Q4.

- a TV documentary interview a ex-idol currently known as Shijimi しじみ, she debuted with S1 all the way back in 2004, has made many uncensored vids and still perform bit parts for Attacker vids and also (illegally) sell her own vids on FC2. She wrote some tweets that hint at it, she's also taking some classes in cosmetic-related work, she invested in a restaurant named after herself is generating steady income, also she doesn't spend her money on luxury and comfort so she is believed to have a solid financial foundation. As she wrote in her tweets, treasure the limited opportunities.

- filling in the shoes of Sora Aoi, Yuma Asami, Aino Kishi and Kirara Asuka, Masami Ichikawa 市川まさみ was selected to captain Ebisu Muscat. However, she caught a scare when a crazy fan on Twitter threaten violence (more specifically to himself) at her greet-and-meet event. The fan actually made good of his threats and show up at her event with a knife on his person and prompted got himself arrested by police. It is not know what his problem is.

- 2 more high ranking idols are retiring before end of year, playno1 knows their names, but he's keeping quiet until formal announcement

My hunch tells me Hibiyan might be retiring (even no announcement has been made), she mentioned awhile back on twitter dont take for granted the fan events for JAV stars, they might not be around in the future. she is having a bunch of 10 year anniversary celebration vids. I hope she does not retire, but if I was betting money it probably be on her. I'd rather have bland boring ass (her bff) Hatano Yui go away. Retired already Hatano Yui :D

As Ding reported Kaname Otori has started working for a brothel or Health Parlor. More details below.
https://www.tokyoreporter.com/enter...tori-enlists-at-tokyo-delivery-health-parlor/

I should probably elaborate on her situation based on what I knew. During her active days, she was one of the AV talents that had the most number of subscribers on Youtube. And she probably thought that she can make a pretty penny from those followers along and quit the AV job outright.

She is one of those girls that hate being controlled anyway, not exactly AV material. It's evident in the last YouTube videos she put out where she confess that she had no money and had to resort to working at a conbini. And one day, she didn't turn up for work because she didn't feel like it and the in-charge of the store call her up to rant at her. She apparently finds the rant funny enough to share, so she puts it in the video :-

But then came a strings of YouTube scandals, Logan Paul, PewDiePie, Shane Dawson the likes and YouTube tighten their policy and demonetized videos that don't meet their guidelines as Kaname had explained in the video above. Thus she saw her earning dropped despite the huge amount of subscriber she got.

Now, she can't do her usual skit, doesn't have the brains to evolve beyond her AV persona and perhaps even too lazy to do so. She can return to AV but choose not to because for obvious reason. So the best thing for her lazy stupid ass is the Fuzoku route.

Be more like kojima and less like Tia in just go all the way with the persona and create better content. It's hard to grow a channel with YouTube so saturated and YouTube only prefer pg content people aside from the Paul brothers, which are those ones features in the annual rewind. She could of open a merch store like kirara asuka and ton of other youtubers. It's either that, patron, or sponsorship deals. Also, some are smart enough to invest in stock, properties, etc. the Japanese youtuber Raphael seem to make quite a bit on crypto last year as well. Most lower Av idols doesn't earn a lot, but at least learn to manage yourself or you'll end up like nozomi. Going back In to av with a lousy contract probably isn't as captivating as doing escort services, but safety concern is a problem. Look at Charlie sheen.

Av idols are good at acting realistically in av because the script and atmosphere really helps them get in to characters, but compares to the USA, they rely on their agency to help them plan events and do all the works for them. Most are young or pretend to be young girls signing a contract hoping to get more fame, money, and goddess like attention treatments. However, not everyone will receive the same amount of success even though some older veterans are still enjoying fame all over Asia that enables them to receiver opportunities to film sleazy, shady, or just regular ads and attend cow play events that let the fans and exec grope them on stage. It's still odd and a bit depressing for all sides sometimes. Anyway, you need some big shout out or be known for something scandalous or have a success in other fields in order to be a successful youtuber especially with those lame teens that use to game in their basement upgraded to a studio of people that help them edit, collab, and get sponsors.

Rion retired ? Jav is really dying, I like a few movies and there are no new actresses that excites me. A big loss to me.

So that's what the instagram's about. Didn't notice that, her movies are slower lately too, kinda sad.

Reposting this from the observation of JAVTweets (https://twitter.com/JAVTweets/status/1044947522697945094) :-

My take on Rion is that she got herself in trouble with her agency. The trigger likely was this video in which she appeared to be revealing her real name and exchanging contacts with a random Korean Youtuber :-

There's probably multiple breaches of contract in regards to her agency in this video alone. Having a history of changing agencies and name, I assume she got blamed and fucked her relationship with T-Powers, who then terminated her.
The worry - if this theory is true - is that her reputation with other talent agencies is probably pretty bad after something like this. T-Powers is a big name, and management companies dislike girls who can't behave professionally.
You'd think everything is simple, and all is well as long as it sells. But this is a rather small world with very traditional work relationships, where behavior and integrity are highly valued.
From T-Powers point of view, having one of their girls showing this type of behavior is just bad for business. It shows their incapacity at protecting their models privacy and image.

I can confirm that the Agencies do spent time policing Social Media accounts to protect the images of their assets :-

For the record, I am skeptical, doubtful and dismissive of each and any and everything that @jwlim80 put out that's not directly traceable to external documentation. @jwlim80 you put out some good stuffs, on Akiba you are the only one following every idol's every tweets and translating some (perhaps biased) samples of it. But you mix in a lot of absolute subjective garbage poison. So I need to read you post, because sometimes I go, "Oh, That's going on ", but most of time, I go "oh, he is going on, again o_O"

Just a simple question, is it sure that girl in the vid is Rion? I am very doubtful. Her face, height and mannerism doesn't seem Rion to me.

Not my word this time, take it up with @JAVtweets (if he is here) if you have any issues with his theory.

But what I do observe is :-

1) How the girls act on screen might be different from how she really behave IRL because of the whole persona thing.

2) Agencies do police SNS accounts to protect the image of their assets.

Indeed, whenever it's not your word, it's base value increases to zero, maybe even greater than zero. But I am addressing you, not @JAVtweets because retweeting, reposting and quoting implies you assign value to the content. I know full well you (just like every human being) selectively repost others, so JAVtweets is responsible for what "he" says and you are responsible for what you quote. If I were to see contents like that on my own, without external verification, I would not repost it on this thread, it doesn't meet the standard I hope this thread to have (but failing spectacularly). (also it's absolutely not coincidental that I wouldn't see contents like those unless you post them here)
