About the AV idols who gets no rest.
I think I was a bit fast and loose with one line and mislead the thinking.
Obviously, the top idols aren't regularly filming 28 days a month.
1. she was most likely talking about the rare or extreme case. We have seen some idols when there's a chance they really milk it, I think
Mio Kimishima, Ayumi Shinoda, Mihiro, Aika, Nanakusa Chitose (gawds I had to really search to reremember her name) and several other famous idols (but not absolute top idols) have all had some brief period when they had 20+ new vids (not compilation) per month, but these periods were temporary (maybe 1-3 months) and sometimes may be a last cash grab before retirement (both Shinoda and Mihiro) and/or abandoned by fans.
2. I think a lot of them are un-famous planning performers. For them a workday mostly be only 1 scene (not full length vid) or even sharing one scene with other girls. So it's not the near-20 hours workday that she mentioned to an earlier question. Also the pay is much less than a solo vid (she mentioned as low as 1500 yens for just topless work) so some of them perhaps really need more than 15 work days per month to pay the bills.
3. Often we hear so and so idol is temporarily quitting JAV due to fatigue. A recent example is Atomi Shuri who only just come back from a break in her not-long career. IIRC she was also milking it just before going on break.
4. I know Muscat Ebisu is a commitment and actual work. But sorry... I just don't buy that practice and rehearsal for a faux music+dance group is a major part of AV idol workload. I don't buy the economy theory of it, how much economic income (including indirect income such as promoting porn) is Muscat making per month? If it take 10 hours of practice per months, multiply by 20+ idols, the cost of practice doesn't make economic sense. Just for laughs I take a look at youtube (imagine!) and see a lot of Muscat Ebisu vids are variety shows in which AV idols play unskilled games, chitchats and generally fool around while being pretty. That makes sense, public appearance (especially in non-live studio with plenty of chance for editing and refinement) that's profit generating. It is work for sure, but I think the work is mostly public appearance that doesn't require much talent and off-screen practice time. Unlike say AKB48, which we know is long hours of practices.
PS: saw a Chinese-subbed version of their (most famous?) number: Banana Mango High School. LOL it's not about healthy diet. mango is code for manko (まんこ), from now on my fav fruit is gonna make me feeling dirty.
