Thanks for the info. I've never watched 3D movies at the theater, but I do watch 3D movies (Full SBS) on Quest 3 and it is amazing. If Deep Desktop is anything like that, then it's definitely worth it.

Not sure why they only feature her less than once per year? PRVR-075 was on of the best/most passionate performances I have seen in VR. So the argument that she is not comfortable with the VR gear or whatnot makes no sense here. Hope to see more of her soon but I guess we have to wait another year for her next movie...

I'm not bothered by the fact that this is a rather unbelievable scenario and even though she has been in thousands of movies their isn't much high quality VR of her. I think she still looks amazing and shows a great performance.

But I watched a trailer a few weeks ago of a Yui VR title, I don't remember which one it was, and they looked bigger than before, and more artificial. And now I've looked up some screenshots of one of her latest titles in flat (KDBJ-321), and when she's lying down they're too firm to be natural, I think...

It's a pity that we have lost 3 or 4 years without Suzu in VR, watching the trailer she is already a woman, not a girl... as it happened with Suzumori Remu... But She's still impressive.

Don't worry, most Japanese women won't ever get tattoos. Its quite rare to see large obvious tattoos. I won't go into detail about why as you can read about this online. The short of it is tattoos are viewed as being associated with the Yakuza.

Very true. Seeing how we have lost 3 or 4 years with Honjo Suzu or Suzumori Remu, is very painful. Let's hope that SOD VR will continue with their exclusive actresses, after this Honjo Suzu VR.

I do notice improvement in the 8K version, although as you say, IP VR movies, along with S1 and some Moodyz movies, are the most mediocre.
With the Quests you can't do much, because even if you connect them to a PC and apply supersampling, the image is compressed to 4K to send it to the glasses, as there is no direct image, so you lose any enhancement provided by the PC.
I use HP Reverb G2, which have direct image via DisplayPort, so there is no need to compress the video. With my RTX 4070Ti Super card I can apply 200% supersampling and 200% antialising with MSAA filter. Basically I'm playing the movie at 16K and by downsampling it to the 4K resolution of my glasses, all the aliasing is removed and you get maximum definition.
With some titles the quality is incredible, just like in real life. But since I'm pushing the video to the max, all the bitrate limitations come to light. That's why I complain so much about this issue. Sampling at 16K, the lower the bitrate, the blurrier the video becomes at a shorter distance.
With the 100 Mbps of A Festa it looks AMAZING, maximum definition even at 4 or 5 meters distance. Like watching without a headset. Unfortunately A Festa has reduced the bitrate to 80 Mbps in its latest titles, and I notice it...
But with IP VR or S1 or Moodyz 8K movies, which have a pathetic 12-15 Mbps bitrate, the image already starts to blur at less than a meter.
As I say, I do notice quite a difference between the 8K and 4K versions, to the point that I no longer download anything in 4K. If no one uploads the 8K version, I forget the movie. But in your case, even if you don't notice much difference with the Quest, for collecting and archiving purposes you should download the 8K version, because in the future the headset screens will have more resolution, and then it will be more noticeable.
This is what has happened with 2K movies. With the low resolution screens of mobiles used for VR in 2017, or the first VR headsets, they looked acceptable. But now with the headsets with 4K screens we have, they look terrible. The same will happen with 4K movies, so download the 8K version even if you don't notice much difference now...

I've dated a couple Japanese women who had very large, incredibly intricate tattoos on their backs that were really quite beautiful. They weren't associated with Yakuza, but they did tend to be a little more daring, and quite a bit more uninhibited than the typical woman in Japan. Personally, I'd like to see more of these kinds of girls in JAV VR.

But for the most part, most won't. Its somewhat related to why most JAV stars have a bush while a fully shaved seems to be the norm in Western porn.
Tattoos are banned in most public baths. There's no ban on shaving your genitals, but women are perceived to be sex workers if they're fully shaved down there and most would rather avoid that. Trim their genitals, sure. Fully shave it off? Most won't, not unless the studio pays them an obscene amount for that one paipan title and than they will proceed to let it grow back afterwards.

Yes, she kinda looks like the second picture in VR but not exactly. This picture exaggerates it a little bit but not by much.
It's crazy actually how fast I got used to 8k. In the beginning I thought it was just a nice upgrade, maybe 15-20% better than the 4k versions. Similar to 'normal' movies and BluRay vs 4k BluRay were the biggest upgrade comes from HDR and not the pixel count. But now for VR 8k is the standard and even movies from 2022/2023 annoy me because of the drop in picture quality. If the girl is really close to the camera it's not that bad. But if she is even an arms length away it becomes hard to watch.
I do believe the giant untrimmed bush has fallen out of favor somewhat over the past decade or so in Japan, with more and more women either shaving completely or keeping it neatly trimmed. Personally, I much prefer this, at least when it comes real life encounters.
You're right, while tattoos have become a little more accepted, it's not likely that they'll ever become something you'll commonly see on women in Japan any time soon. The women that do have them are definitely the non-conformists. From an aesthetic standpoint, Karen Ootori's randomly placed tattoos look terrible. What I did enjoy was the attitude she projected, which was that of someone who's not afraid to thumb her nose at societal expectations. I sometimes get a little bored with really typical actresses who all begin to look and sound alike after a while.
