Well even without the word (from admin) I'm taking some initiative and I'm going to private message people that I see posting and know have posted LinkTrash etc… and give them until the end of this month to transition their posts and or be banned. November 1st you won't see many of them and if they pop up I'll quickly rectify the situation.

Well, i can just say that i HATE urlcash / cashcounters / pay-per-click sites and so on ..... nothing special, is just my mood

don't care if a free sharefiles site give to users points each time i download a file (except than for the ones that endless redirect you and make you wait and so on :p), but use the sharing principle (and sometimes the work of other peoples) for make money, is, imho, matter of (at least) banning .....

for me, share means share, and no other ..... just this

I fucking hate how ppl here keep posting vids in linkbuck form. Simple just stick it on rapidshare or Mega and let us dl it. Are you really that concerned for 5 cents a click? Fucking pop ups and spam everywhere. I also hate how people have a 45mb file and split it into 4 sections. I promise to make my videos at least 100mb in volume and I will never ever do link bucks. I suggest we start banning people that use mini volumes and link bucks. Ruins the purpose of open/free source.

You have a misconception of what open/free source is. Porn is not open/free source. Software is. You're missing the point with why people use Linkbucks. They're doing it so that they can make money, not so that they can share with everyone. If they split a file four ways, they're INCREASING the revenue that they get from people downloading all four files.

Why are you using a browser that even allows popups? I've seen content stored at linkbucks and have never encountered ANY popups.

Thanks so much for your stance on this issue. Initially, when only one or two posters were using redirects I didn't mind too much, but all of the redirects now have significantly diminished my enjoyment of this great forum.

I now would like all redirects to be stopped.

Thank You.

well, just for say my humble opinion, i NEVER use cashlinks, for principle, also if they have items that i want ..... i just use emule and a lot of patience, and first or after i get all that i want without give money to those don't deserve it ..... oh, btw, my browser DON'T allow popups, it just kill them :)

urlcash and something like that

bro, what do you think with the fact that more n more link in akiba JAV direct download section is filled with urlcash or something like that
i really hate people who used that link, i don't think they really upload the video, i believe they only find the true link n convert it to urlacash link or other
i suppose this forum is someplace that we can give and take with free n expect nothing but thank you.
what do you think we can do with that? can akiba just banned the link or something, so it push people to use real direct download link such as rapidshare, megaupload or other.

Grab the link to which urlcash/linkbucks is redirecting to and post in the thread.
Also, is it really necessary to create another thread for this matter?
The other one is still there, right below this (at the time of this post) and the last post was...today.

thread by aviant_greek had been moved to this section because originally posted in a torrent section.

Even though it looks like the mods are already taking action, I'm going to throw in my 2 cents anyway and say those redirects piss me the hell off.

Yeah, speaking of which, it looks like the entire site redirects to an interstitial ad now, if you happen to not be logged in.

I really hope I never see that again.

As I mentioned before I'll begin sweeping away LinkTrash content tomorrow. While I won't be able to get every post I'll do what I can.

I've seen an individual who posts photos from photo sets as individual files, each having its own cash link.. Very annoying IMO. He could have just posted a zipped file for all the pictures since they really are from the same photo set. His signature includes 5+ blogspot sites (I bet they contain many more files with many more cash links). Would that warrant for a ban?

...and a link to the banned material inside the rules too, so that noone can tell "did not know" including that AO is for Asian mat only.

...and perhaps that THANKS only posts are not wanted to get some load off the database.

...and a clear regulation about using bucks/cash links and advertisements in signatures too. A signature should be like a calling card and not like an advertising board...

I dont rly mind at all .. but its kinda unfair for uploaders to take advantage on some content that they dont own at all, i mean its already illegal to upload these things (the blame goes to the uploader not the one who downloaded it)

so i think it should be banned, voted yes

I'd support it, it's especially frustrating going through all those links and finding out the files aren't even there anymore
