Another reminder in case you got distracted again
Thanks.
I went back to fine tune ROE-021, but kept running into creative roadblocks. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten you.
The next 10 days will be super busy for me, but I'll finish it when I have some free time.

RCTD-484 If You Can Put Up With Ejaculation With Your Mother's Dirty Blowjob, The Prize Money Is 1 Million Yen If You Go Out Of Control, An Incest Punishment Game

1rctd484pl.jpg

Thanks to ding73ding. Although her/his? subtitle file was a Chinese translation, I found an English machine translation on SubtitleCat but I would not have looked had ding73ding not posted it. I cleaned the machine translation up a bit and tried to better interpret what was being said, but otherwise did not deliberately twist the storyline. It may not totally be a true translation since I don't know Japanese or Chinese. (Guess I should always include this disclaimer!). Anyway enjoy and let me know what you think.

NSFS-037 Mature Mother 15 ~ The Bad Person I Loved ~ Saran Ito

nsfs037sopl.jpg

Yusaku lives with his stepmother Saran. Yusaku inherited the printing factory that his father had passed away, but soon went bankrupt. He despaired of his incompetence. In order to keep Yusaku's father's will, Saran transformed him into a splendid man with her own body as his mother and as a woman...

Resync the time and corrected the machine translation.

Another pack, 165 files.

So far we had like... 3 packs in 4 weeks? It's turning into a regular thing??? I want to emphasize no one made any announcement or promises. This could be the last pack ever, or it could be a weekly or biweekly releases going forward.

I will post new packs as I grab them, don't bug me or ask me questions.

When I have time I will also consider bundling my own packs, except it's probably a waste of my time due to overlapping with existing packs.

Would anyone know a working method to batch translate these files? The scripy deeplv4.py has stopped working for me --I believe a change in DeepL UI has caused it.

@ding73ding , thanks for getting these sub packs. Much appreciated!

Thank you so much. Excellent work and I hope you post many more subtitles.

I have used subtitlecat to translate chinese subtitles posted here. However, if they already have a translation they won't translate it and simply state that they already have a translation available . Also, it's not a batch translation, but one at a time. Hope this helps.

Sorry to post a revised version of my amalgamated subtitle pack (made from previously posted collections) so soon, but I'm
making version 2 available. Alternate download location here: Subtitles.v2.zip

Why version 2? I made a bunch of improvements and fixes to my subtitle organizing tool in JavLuv. Here's how things have changed:
  • Automatic ID detection was restricted to the first ten characters to ensure fewer false positives
  • Subtitles I couldn't deduce an ID for are now stored in an _UNSORTED folder, with their original name and topmost folder preserved
  • Text encoding is auto-detected, and converted to UTF-8
  • Most common subtitle formats (.srt, vtt, .ssa, .ass, and .smi), are analyzed and incorrect extensions are fixed
  • Language is auto-detected, and a language code is applied to filenames
In short, it's mostly the same subtitles, but better named and organized. And some random unsortable subtitles previously discarded are now preserved. Overall stats below from the latest processing run:

I should point out that there are likely some errors here and there, as no automated tool is perfect. But on spot checking the collection, the error rate seems fairly low, and the benefits seemed worth it. I was able to scan my own movie collection, and found 13 new movies that have subtitles available for them which I had previously missed.
This is GOLD! Thanks a bunch! I have a suggestion to make the collection even bigger. You can add more subtitles from subtitlecat.com, I've come across a few that the collection don't have but subtitlecat does have (old JAVs).

I look forward to version 3.

(It's missing a lot of subtitles from KTB series and similar, and RCT, which I really want)

I have been looking for good (meaningful) subtitles for an old movie DVDMS-184 for several years. There are some in subtitlecat, but they don't make any sense. I would buy them, but I don't have the cards required to buy them. I know this is not a request, but if anyone has them, please post them here or privately.

Subtitles.v3.zip is now available. I took some time and downloaded literally everything previously posted in this thread. Yes, all 202 pages... ugh. So, we now have a comprehensive collection of everything that's been posted here to date - or at least, the vast majority of it. Alternate link: Subtitles.v3.zip

Again, this is just a collection of everything everyone has posted here - nothing new. But I think it's handy to have everything in one sorted collection, duplicates removed, and named consistently.

Thanks very much for the effort! Does that mean there's 5142 new ones in this version 3?

Also if I come across any subtitles that the pack don't have and it's on subtitlecat. I will download it and put it a folder, you can add it to later version. If subtitle is in Japanese, I will machine translate it to Chinese. I'll put in the file name "(machine translate)".

Also, I find there's a lot of duplicates in version 2, the duplicates have a "1" in the name.

I really appreciate these packs since OCRing subtitle has gotten more difficult in recent months. Thank you so much for uploading these packs!

Correct. That's collectively seven years or so of posting history by the fine folks of this thread.

Also if I come across any subtitles that the pack don't have and it's on subtitlecat. I will download it and put it a folder, you can add it to later version. If subtitle is in Japanese, I will machine translate it to Chinese. I'll put in the file name "(machine translate)".

Why machine translate to Chinese? Ultimately, the goal for most here is to translate to English. We have so many Chinese subs because they're the ones making subtitles, not so much Japanese, who have little need for them (perhaps aside from hearing impaired people).

Anyhow, as long as the ID is clearly labeled at the start of the file, the software will figure out the language and name it like everything else.

Also, I find there's a lot of duplicates in version 2, the duplicates have a "1" in the name.

Those aren't duplicates. They're different versions of subtitles for the same movie. If you check the sizes or content, you'll notice they'll all be slightly different. There's no way for my organizing software to judge quality, so as long as there's any difference in the files, I have to preserve them all.

1. The subs in the pack are mostly Chinese, so I thought I will keep it the same with the pack. 2. I can read both Chinese and English, but I think machine translation is more accurate for Chinese.

Regarding duplicates, I had a look at the content but didn't see any difference, I will need to take a closer look later.

Well, I don't read Chinese, so you can judge that better than me. You're welcome to post whatever you like, and I'll gladly merge them in.

Of course, anyone can do the same, since the tool is available on GitHub.

Regarding duplicates, I had a look at the content but didn't see any difference, I will need to take a closer look later.

The differences could be as small as a byte - maybe even an invisible character, like a BOM or different style of newline. I perform an SHA-1 hash on the two files, and if there's any difference, I preserve both of them. In many cases, the difference will be more obvious. My tool doesn't really have a notion of what's a "significant" difference or not from a human perspective.
