Correct. That's collectively seven years or so of posting history by the fine folks of this thread. Thanks very much for the effort! Does that mean there's 5142 new ones in this version 3?
Also if I come across any subtitles that the pack don't have and it's on subtitlecat. I will download it and put it a folder, you can add it to later version. If subtitle is in Japanese, I will machine translate it to Chinese. I'll put in the file name "(machine translate)".
Why machine translate to Chinese? Ultimately, the goal for most here is to translate to English. We have so many Chinese subs because they're the ones making subtitles, not so much Japanese, who have little need for them (perhaps aside from hearing impaired people).
Anyhow, as long as the ID is clearly labeled at the start of the file, the software will figure out the language and name it like everything else.
Also, I find there's a lot of duplicates in version 2, the duplicates have a "1" in the name.
Those aren't duplicates. They're different versions of subtitles for the same movie. If you check the sizes or content, you'll notice they'll all be slightly different. There's no way for my organizing software to judge quality, so as long as there's any difference in the files, I have to preserve them all.
