Here's some funny stuff I came across while subbing the Chinese/Machine Translated sub for NKKD-179:

I'm in the process of subbing PPPD-818, another Time Stop starring Hitomi. It's a 3 hour move. So I will be doing that when I'm not super busy.
I did looked for the subs, didn't see any except, the English ones, which are F'UP to put it mildly. Totally machine translated from what I could see.

What's funny is, I seen multiple sites with the same bad subs. So either its run by the same operators or they just stealing from each other. But that's not the issue.
My thing is, why are you putting bad subs on your site???
I know you want the hits/likes. But what service are you performing to the "subscribers or potential subscribers" by allowing bad subs on your site?
A quick scan(busy lifestyle and etc, I understand) of any subs will tell you what it's worth. AND if you can't do that, then just say "Subs hasn't been verified".

For the subs you did look at, give a rating like A,B,C,F. Skipped the D because anything after a C is trash imo

I hate the extreme repetition. It does nothing to further any story or change any dynamic.

That's why I was looking for suggestion for different way for the sugoi, the kimochi, comfortable, put it in, etc, etc.
But sometimes you just do what's necessary and follow what they are saying.

Also dude, that movie was great! I liked both the actress(nice older female) I need to find more with her.
And I liked the actor. I seen him in some of my old porn and he always performs well and usually bangs older chicks.
I loved the theme and felt the tone was smooth and very erotic. The tension was just right.
I liked the fonts and the scenes flow smoothly.

I think it's a good example of how subtitles don't need to be accurate to still be hot.
Remember, for that project I only used my own guessing, and what I WANTED them to be saying, not what they were actually saying.
I don't know Japanese, nor did I use software, like Google Translate, which I will often utilize in a pinch.
I found the process of trying to come up with kinky dialog that fit my interests to be a fun, exciting challenge.
Because I don't know Japanese, I have a wide amount of freedom, because I wouldn't know what the actors and actresses are actually saying, so it's easy for me to suspend disbelief.
This even helps me on projects like SPRD-1423, starring the amazing Hana Haruna.
Although the title mentions "Mom Friend", the movie doesn't actually include incest.
That was disappointing, but since I don't know Japanese and make my own subs, I was able to bend it a little in order to add that special, kinky element.
The result, for me, is a movie that is a lot kinkier, has heightened risk, tension, and taboo dynamic. It's a small change, that wouldn't work for people that know Japanese, but since I don't, it works just fine.
