Here's my next translation:
ADN-179: Nasty Night Activities. Father-In-Law's Lust. Saeko Matsushita

This was a relatively minor project (about 400 lines) and I had Chinese and Korean translations as guides. The Korean translation wasn't very well done (it was a first try at translation) and the Chinese one was rather limited so I used Autosub to add to sources for translation. I did the translation over 3 weekends and finished the last few lines, which were very tricky, a few days ago.
I will probably provide a few more translations of Saeko Matsushita videos but I don't have any more of hers lined up right now. Also, Erojapanese has a few translations of her videos for sale.
A little 'early summer' present for you.

You're right, javr, you can use Google Drive for OCR as well. The problem with that is you have to wait a long time for the text to be recognized and my experience with it is that it rarely OCR's the text correctly. Even images where the text is very clear against the background are often recognized wrong. Also, I've never been able to OCR more than one file at a time. You don't get any timings using that method either.
Anyway, I've started to use Photoshop to clear images from as much as possible of the background (through automated actions) and it works really well on about 80% of most videos unless the action takes place in very light locations. Then you have to fill in the characters by hand. Of course, the txt files generated by ABBYY Finereader from the VideoSubFinder files (the ones in RGBImages folder) have different endings in the names so you have to use a re-naming software to add the correct ending to those OCRed files. Then VideoSubFinder will still say that this or that file isn't in its reference file so you have to move all lines that the program doesn't want to put into the final subtitle file in a separate folder and add those lines later. You can see that there's an awful lot to do when you OCR a video.

Now, I haven't used ABBYY so I can't speak for it's accuracy.
But on the contrary, I find google drive to be highly efficient. Like a 80% accuracy even in it's RGBImages form.
I also just found a workaround so I don't have to manually "Open with > Google Docs" one image at a time.

From what I've read, you don't seem to use TXTImages from VSF.(I don't use it too, previously)
I also been thinking of a way to automate/batch enhance the RGBImages to help the OCR process in GDrive.
But since I upgrade to VSF ver. 3.10, it can convert RGBImages to TXTImages very well, deeming the enhancement steps almost unnecessary.

Feeling good because the FHD torrent is live (enough). There are these torrents out there that won't 100% but only some garbage ads would not complete. The vid itself would complete reasonably quickly. Grab them while they last.

I also started leeching MDYD-797, another Julia-Tameike Goro vid but it's dead. With JAV in slump last since beginning of this year. Finding FHD ver of old classics is a relief.

Don't be turned off by "zero seeds", it's worth a try. Not like it costs you to try. Sometimes a "seed" doesn't seed a couple garbage ads in the package to trick leeches to stay on to keep sharing. These guys show as leeches but are actually seeds. I was gonna give up after 3 weeks at 99% but before I deleted it, I checked and saw the vid itself is completed and perfect on playback. So I also keep the torrent on and I am also one such leech-seed for a few vids now.

Awesome! OK so I wasn't quite sure if there's real demand/appreciation for those old vids. Now I am sure.

I am going to start work on MIDD-910 and/or MDYD-797 this weekend. Both are reasonably short subs and mentioned or contributed in PM.

Also I am not doing it for myself. At least I try to stop myself doing it for myself. I'm fine watching without sub (most porn don't need story/dialog) and if the Chinese sub is available, I'm quite happy with them. Translating into English doesn't improve my (solo) sex life, that's why I am NOT doing translation for myself. I was looking for some (minimal) compensation, some likes, some conversation, some sharing.

Now I got them and I'm happy.

Wow literally... I am spent. I wasn't even very particularly searching for this vid, but I happened to acquired the Chinese SRT, and noticed there's a torrent for it. But the seed was dead so I off-handedly mentioned that. Then @juulplums so kindly made a private arrangement for me to pick up the FHD. So only appropriate that I next pick this one to translate to English.

MY GODS.... that's one great fucking good piece of porn. The cover was crap, I probably missed it partly because the cover look terrible and I don't enjoy watching Julia getting r***ing. But NOOO... it's one amazing porn. Making very difficult to translate because I often have to type with only my left hand.

So even if you are not her fan, even if you aren't into that kind of theme/plotlines, please please check it out. Quite a good script, and well-translated into Chinese, and if I dare say so, also quite well translated into English. The big thing is quite good acting, not so much Julia, she's never going to win an Oscar, but it's an well-acted piece of sexual drama, with a bunch of not-good actors.

Also I may add, it's one of those rare cases that a synopsis or plot outline won't quite cut it. The sub makes a real difference.

How about another old vid from a different busty top idol?

Shion Utsunomiya, remember her? I may be biased by the fact I just watch this vid 4+ times for doing the translation, but honestly, this might be her bestest vid of her two careers. I very rarely can watch a r*** vid, including almost of these secret investigator vids. But Rion's terrible acting (showing an expression of pleasure when she was being finger-r***ing supposedly against her will) I really enjoy watching her obviously taking pleasure in sucking cock and fucked slightly rough and saying those combative lines.

Quite a good chunk of the dialog are those meaningless "So good", "Stop", "More more" sex lines. So those are not fun to translate and not much helpful for viewing/fapping. But the dialogs before each sex scene do carry a (very thin) plot and I think really help with the mood.

Unfortunately the first 3 minutes, before the opening credits were skipped by the Chinese subber, so I could do nothing about it. But if you watch the vid from beginning to end (a big challenge) it will be quite obvious what those sinister guys were talking about. I also fixed up a little bit of the timing and some (based on guess) mistakes in the Chinese.

Stupidly I used to think her tits were too huge, and until recently I was never fan of all sex vids. So it's also a re-discovery of this fantastic AV. I don't know if it's just in my head or what. But Shion Utsunomiya in 2014 seemed such a happy fucker. She really seemed like she love sucking and fucking big cocks.

Mostly I consider conversations in these kind of vid as totally scripted totally trite tripes. But Shion seemed rather relaxed and genuinely herself.

The sub is under 200 lines, but it's a lot of work. There were a lot of timing problems and some missing lines, and I took the liberty of filling in some gaps, changing some lines based on mood, intuition and guessing (not Japanese language skill). I don't have total faith in the Chinese sub anyway, so it's fair game to mess around a bit. I daresay I ended up reasonably accurate.

SNIS-129 Let's do Outdoor Sex Shion Utsunomiya
This one is a freebie. There's a Yuuwaku Project out there doing EN/ES bilingual sub. I was looking for a FHD of this vid for download and discover the group. You can find the torrent seed out there. I had demux'ed the subtitle out of the MKV file so it's possible someone already has the vid and wish to getthe sub only. I was going to post it (ASS format) right here but then maybe it's not needed or the Yuuwaku may not want it posted seperately from their own rip.

Yuuawku Project did a beautiful job of subbing for this vid.

This one is short and easily doable. The theme is very simple, so accuracy should be easy. At first translating this vid seems silly. Soap vids have zero plot and no one ever not understand the the story. But then... who knows. Maybe someone wants to know the SOP or actual phrases said during a soap session. Maybe some of you want to navigate into such establishment and want to learn how to experience the service without getting kicked out. If you feel there's value in translating this vid, let me know.

This would be a huge project by my standard. But like SNIS-166 this one got a real plot, unlike SNIS-166, this vid has a lot of acting and action scene, sword fight, gun play, hand combat, shuriken, multiple costumes (one set modern, one set period), and cheesy SFX. Julia's above-the-neck acting is as adorably terrible as always, but this time we get to see her performing a lot of action/fighting scenes and she's actually really not terrible. She strikes a heroine pose as good as any female lead in sentai TV shows. (a strong contrast with the male antagonist who is supposedly a strong ninja but looks like an overaged underachieving office worker) The sex scenes mostly consist of Julia receiving serial gang r*** by the bad guys. But I enjoy the final 90 seconds Julia taking revenge on her antagonist. I love it as a B-movie with sex, but as porn, it's admittedly not at all the best.

There are actually quite a lot other choices, I have about 5000 Chinese subtitle files, most of which I don't have the vid for. But anyway the possibility exist that I could take request...

Sorry no dice! I can only work with existing Chinese subs. I have near zero Japanese language skill and, for example, translating from Korean (a new friend just sent me 1694 Kr subs) is possible using Google, but anyone can do that.

Another problem is age. MIAA-076 is too new. Most of the Chinese, Korean, English I found are at least one year old vids.

Maybe someone who actually makes original subs could help you.

If it's hard-coded Chinese I would ask that you do the front part of the work first, make the timing codes and grab the frames with text into jpg formats. I can go as far as translating into a TXT file from a stack of still JPGs. If you already provide a blank SRT file (with time codes) and JPG's that's even better I can fill the English lines into the SRT. More work than that... I am not willing to take at this time. Several procedures have been explained earlier in this thread.

If it's soft-coded, either individual SRT/ASS etc file format, or a soft-coded MKV etc that I can demux, I am happy with that.

The contribution I can provide, for free (time allowing) is I can read Chinese, especially lowbrow (including porn) Chinese far better than most OCR, I correct the inevitable typos introduced in the Chinese sub, and I can translate Chinese into English far better than Google. And also I do a bit of checking for timing issues and sometimes modify the lines based on my understanding of the scene.

It's quite predictable that Google translate from Thai would fail badly. The Thai sub could be error prone, or it might be translated from Chinese sub, Google Translate for Thai language might be less accurate than from Japanese and Chinese.
