I must be remembering wrong about the context. Turns out some are in sex scenes. A prime example is IPX-931. I am attaching the srt file and you can search the phrase "and many more" to see what I mean.

Another pretty thorough subtitle clean. MDYD-967 Asahi Mizuno



Cleaned up an autosub which may have been slightly cleaned before but still needed heavy editing. Note: I did not bother editing the opening 3 minutes of dialogue, which is a student reading aloud from a textbook on the industrial revolution.

This is one in the "pet teacher" series that many other actresses have done. Asahi is blackmailed by a student. There's some irama in the first scene which is more extreme than she usually does. Lots of nice body shame and other kinds of humiliation. She looks insanely hot in this, even hotter than usual.

Line 189 is slightly "wrong" meaning its shorten. She say he will miss the last train and he won't get back. Something like that.

Line 191 "And many more" is wrong to me. He is telling her to wait/wait a minute. As she is starting to dress.
"ちょっと" = chotto = hey/wait/wait up/
"ちょっと待って" =chotto matte = wait a minute/wait a second/hang on/hold on

I generally hate lines like this. It confuses me. Sometimes I skipped it. Men in JAV uses it a lot. Sounds like a bee buzzing in my ear

* Special note 1* Line 191; the subtitler used "and many more" because he didn't understand the original language. He examined the scene and made the guy more "desperate" for sex by adding "and many more". It's like saying, "more... more..." or "more... I want more...". Something like that.

** Special note 2* This might be an alternative to use in the future, if my brains won't allow me to understand something. As long as it fits the context of the scene.

I recently found a machine translation of GVG-033 with Ayumi Shinoda my favorite JAV Actress of all time! I cleaned it up a bit and re-interpreted the garbage text but left the storyline in tact. Anyway enjoy and let me know what you think.

Even now I'm cleaning up a old shota movie for my personal use and it started with 1 and suddenly another appear near the end. Don't see the point but it's didn't turn to r***. Saw a Hitomi movie with 2 shotas(her cousins). No r*** but suddenly a friend of the shotas was added. Again, why??? Not needed.

I understand. Don't think too much about it(unless you want more accurate subs). Trust me, once you try to be accurate(I'm guilty ) it makes it weird to enjoy some Chinese subs. Still a lot are really good. The machine ones, yeah trash imo I don't even bother.

Good subs, because you know the difficulties of subbing and how great some subbers(Imscully, George, Chuckie, and others uses their imagination to make it work... w/o changing the essence of the scene or movie

Bad subs, because you hear the dialog and it doesn't convey the essence of the scene. Some even change the scenes and the characters motivation or origin. Example, a "bully", but the sub makes him a "friend". And not the "pretend friend". So through the whole movie the "tormented kid" is seen being scared of his "friend" wtf

Another example, is it a big deal if you change "mom", "step-mom", and "mother-in-law" in your sub? Not really, so as long as you tell people imo(Imscully and Chuckie always tells us). But in 95% of JAV, you know the difference.
I personally don't want to be in a middle of a fap and suddenly the girl calls her dad, "uncle" hahaha
